UNIVERSITY OF EDUCATION AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP, AKAMKPA, EXTENDS RESUMPTION DATE TO NOVEMBER 27, 2026
The University of Education and Entrepreneurship (UEE), Akamkpa, Cross River State, has extended the resumption date for all students to Friday, November 27, 2026, ahead of the commencement of the new academic session.
The decision was approved by the University Senate at an emergency meeting held on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, to consider arrangements for the new session.
In a memo signed by the University Registrar, Amb. Gabriel O. Egbe, Ph.D., the university confirmed that the revised date applies to all students.
Reason for the Resumption Extension
According to the Registrar, the extension is necessary to enable the university to host the NYSC Batch C Orientation Course within its premises.
The adjustment will give the institution additional time to make the necessary arrangements for the orientation exercise.
Advice to Newly Admitted Students
Following the announcement, newly admitted students have been advised to use the extended period to complete their online admission processes.
Fresh students are also encouraged to pay their acceptance fees and settle other relevant charges before resumption.
Revised Academic Calendar
The university disclosed that the Committee of Deans is currently preparing a revised academic calendar for the new session.
The calendar will be published once it has been finalised and approved. Students are therefore advised to monitor the university’s official communication channels for further updates.
