UNIVERSITY OF IBADAN RELEASES 2026/2027 ADMISSION CUT-OFF MARKS FOR ALL PROGRAMMES
The University of Ibadan (UI) has officially released the departmental cut-off marks for candidates seeking admission into its undergraduate programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The approved cut-off marks cover Merit, Catchment, and Educationally Less Developed States (ELDS) admission categories across all faculties and programmes.
The released scores will guide the admission process for candidates who participated in the University's 2026/2027 Post-UTME screening exercise.

- Education and Political Science – 51.00
Admission Categories
The University released cut-off marks under three admission categories:
- Merit
- Catchment
- Educationally Less Developed States (ELDS)
While many programmes maintained identical scores across all categories, competitive programmes such as Medicine, Nursing, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Computer Science, Engineering, and Law have lower ELDS cut-off marks in line with the University's admission policy.
Candidates are advised to compare their aggregate screening scores with the published departmental cut-off marks to determine their chances of securing admission into their chosen programmes.
The University of Ibadan is expected to commence the release of admission offers through the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) and the University's admission portal for qualified candidates who meet the approved departmental requirements.
