UNIVERSITY OF MAIDUGURI (UNIMAID) EXTENDS DEADLINE FOR HOSTEL PIN PURCHASE AND ONLINE BOOKING
The University of Maiduguri, through the Office of the Dean of Student Affairs, has announced an extension of the deadline for the purchase of Hostel Allocation Pins and the Hostel Online Booking exercise for the current academic session.
The updated hostel booking schedule is as follows:
Hostel Online Booking Commencement Date: September 16, 2026
Opening Time: 6:00 AM
New Closing Date: October 1, 2026
Closing Time: 12:00 AM (Midnight)
Booking Portal: umstad.online
IMPORTANT NOTICE TO STUDENTS
Students are required to make payment immediately after completing their online booking to prevent the temporary reservation from expiring.
After successful payment, students must verify their payment on the portal and immediately print their official Hostel Permit and Hostel Receipt.
The University emphasized that accommodation allocation will not be finalized until the payment verification and printing process have been completed.
Students are therefore advised to take note of the new dates and complete the booking and payment processes within the stipulated period.
