UNIZIK ASUU BRANCH WITHDRAWS ACADEMIC AND ADMINISTRATIVE ACTIVITIES OVER UNPAID SALARIES
Pursuant to the NEC Standing Resolution, which empowers branches to withdraw her services if salaries are not paid by the 3rd day of next month and following Congress Resolution of today, Monday 7th September, 2026, members of ASUU NAU are hereby directed to withdraw their services pending the complete payment of August 2026 salary.
The withdrawal shall subsist until the complete August 2026 salary is paid. In compliance with the above, all members are specifically directed to:
- Withdraw all academic and administrative services including teaching. lectures, tutorials, practicals, supervision, marking of scripts, exams, departmental/board/committee meetings, submission of results, and online classes, etc with immediate effect.
- Refrain from signing attendance register or responding to memos/directives from HODs, Deans, and University Administration.
- Remain united and vigilant. Monitor official ASUU-NAU platforms for update as well as attend Congress.
- Report any form of intimidation or harassment to the Branch EXCO immediately.
Services shall resume only upon notification that the complete August 2026 salary has been paid.
All members are enjoined to fully comply and remain united.
