Step-by-Step Hostel Booking Procedure

First, students must complete the required payment of 1,400,000 Naira covering both accommodation and feeding fees through the official student portal at portal.lcu.edu.ng.

Secondly, after payment, visit hostel.lcu.edu.ng and log in using your Student Portal credentials.

Thirdly, select an available room of your choice and finalize the booking process.

Important Requirements and Clarifications

Full payment of both accommodation and feeding fees totaling 1,400,000 Naira is mandatory before any student becomes eligible to select a room.

Students who have paid for accommodation without the feeding fee will not be able to complete their booking until the full balance is cleared.

Crediting funds to your Student Portal wallet does not automatically complete the transaction. Students must proceed to explicitly process the payment for accommodation and feeding within the portal for the system to recognize the transaction as complete.

Designated Halls of Residence
The university has reserved specific halls for certain categories of students:

Male 100-Level Students: Champion, Genesis, and Lemon 2 halls.

Female 100-Level Students: Cedars, Mango, and Achievers halls. All freshers are advised to select rooms within these designated blocks.

MBBS Students (400-Level and Above): Chronicles 1, Chronicles 2, and Chronicles 3, which feature 2-man room configurations.

Students are advised not to delay, as hostel spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
