The Management of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS), has formally announced the date for the Matriculation Ceremony of newly admitted students for the 2025/2026 academic session. In an official circular released on February 20, 2026, the university confirmed that the ceremony is now scheduled to take place on Wednesday, 4th March 2026. This event marks the formal induction of fresh students into the university community, where they will take the matriculation oath to uphold the rules and regulations of the institution.

Following the announcement, the University Registrar has directed all relevant departments, including the Student Affairs Division and Faculty Officers, to commence full preparations for the ceremony.
