WAGENINGEN UNIVERSITY OPENS FULLY FUNDED MASTER'S SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS FOR 2027
Wageningen University & Research (WUR), Netherlands, has opened applications for its 2027 Master's Scholarship Programme, offering fully funded study opportunities to outstanding international students from outside the European Union (EU) and European Economic Area (EEA).
The scholarship is designed to support academically exceptional students by covering major study and living expenses throughout the duration of their master's programme in the Netherlands.
The application deadline for the scholarship is December 1, 2026.
SCHOLARSHIP BENEFITS
Successful applicants will receive a comprehensive funding package covering:
- Round-trip travel to and from the Netherlands.
- Living allowance for the duration of the master's programme (24 months).
- Full tuition fee for the entire programme.
- Visa application costs.
- Health insurance costs.
- A budget to attend one seminar in Europe, including travel, accommodation and registration fees.
The scholarship enables recipients to focus on their academic studies without the burden of major financial expenses.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for the Wageningen University Master's Scholarship Programme, applicants must:
- Be an international student from a country outside the EU/EEA.
- Have applied for one of Wageningen University's eligible master's programmes before the application deadline.
- Obtain unconditional admission into the selected MSc programme.
- Be an outstanding student, ranking among the top 5% of their graduating class.
- Hold a First Class Honours degree with a minimum GPA of 80% or higher in a bachelor's degree.
The University noted that only candidates who satisfy all the above requirements will be eligible to receive an invitation to the Africa Scholarship Programme selection process.

The scholarship supports eligible Master's degree programmes offered by Wageningen University & Research.
