The Management of Yusuf Maitama Sule Federal University of Education is pleased to inform the general public and the entire university community that the formal matriculation exercise for the 2025/2026 Academic Session has been scheduled.

This ceremony serves as the official induction for all newly admitted students into the university's academic fold.

II. INSTRUCTIONS FOR MATRICULATING CANDIDATES

To ensure a successful and orderly ceremony, all fresh students are required to adhere to the following:

• Punctuality: Candidates must arrive at the venue early. All students are expected to be seated well before the 2:30 PM start time to accommodate the academic procession.
• Academic Regalia: Matriculants should ensure they have collected their official academic gowns from their respective faculties/departments as per the university's guidelines.
• Attendance: Attendance is mandatory for all newly admitted students to finalize their status as bona fide students of the institution.

III. INFORMATION FOR GUESTS & PARENTS

• Seating: Due to the formal nature of the event, guests are encouraged to arrive early to secure seating in the designated visitor areas.
• Photography: Professional photographers will be available in designated areas; however, guests are asked to avoid disrupting the ceremony during the official proceedings.
