The management of the Akwa Ibom College of Nursing Sciences wishes to inform the general public, particularly candidates who are interested in pursuing a career in nursing, that applications are now invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the ND (National Diploma) and HND (Higher National Diploma) Nursing programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.

Eligibility Criteria
All applicants must satisfy the following conditions before they can apply:
- UTME Requirement:
Candidates must have scored a minimum of 180 in the 2025 UTME. - O’Level Results:
- Candidates must possess at least five (5) credits in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
- The credits must be obtained in not more than two sittings.
- WAEC and NECO results can be combined, but NABTEB cannot be combined with any other examination.
- Age Requirement:
Applicants must be 16 years of age or above by 30th September 2025. - Choice of Institution:
Candidates must have selected the Akwa Ibom College of Nursing Sciences as their first or second choice during JAMB registration.
Only candidates who meet all the above criteria are eligible to apply for admission.
Post-UTME Screening Exercise
Date: Saturday, 4th October 2025
Venue: Aka Community Secondary School, Aka Offot, Uyo
Time: 7:00 am
The Post-UTME screening examination is compulsory for all applicants. It will serve as part of the selection process to determine successful candidates for admission.
Important Notice for Candidates
- All applicants must bring along their coloured, printed acknowledgement/exam slips to the venue.
- Candidates without this slip will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.
- Applicants are advised to arrive early, as the examination will begin promptly.
