COLLEGE OF NURSING SCIENCES, UNIVERSITY OF UYO TEACHING HOSPITAL ANNOUNCES 2026/2027 ND/HND NURSING ADMISSION
The College of Nursing Sciences, University of Uyo Teaching Hospital (UUTH), Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, has announced admission into its National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) Nursing programme for the 2026/2027 academic session.
Suitably qualified candidates who meet the admission requirements are invited to apply for the programme within the stipulated application period.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Interested candidates are expected to meet the following requirements:
- Candidates must have obtained a minimum 2026 UTME score of 150.
- Candidates must have selected the College of Nursing Sciences, University of Uyo Teaching Hospital as their first-choice institution in JAMB.
- Applicants must be at least 16 years old by November 30, 2026.
- Candidates who completed a change of institution through the JAMB portal to the College of Nursing Sciences, University of Uyo Teaching Hospital are also eligible to apply.
O'LEVEL REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must possess credit passes in the following subjects:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Physics
The required subjects must be obtained in not more than two sittings in any of the recognised examinations, including WAEC, GCE, SSCE or NECO.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
Interested candidates are required to obtain the Post-UTME application form after payment of a non-refundable application fee of ₦30,000.
Payment is to be made to the Bursary, College of Nursing Sciences, University of Uyo Teaching Hospital.
For the registration process, candidates are expected to come along with:
- Three coloured passport photographs
- Photocopies of relevant credentials
- Printout of JAMB score
APPLICATION PERIOD
Collection of the application form will commence on:
Monday, October 5, 2026
The application period will close on:
Thursday, October 22, 2026
Prospective applicants are advised to complete the application process before the closing date.
POST-UTME SCREENING EXERCISE
The Post-UTME screening examination has been scheduled to hold as follows:
Date: Saturday, October 24, 2026
Time: 9:00am
Venue: College of Nursing Sciences, University of Uyo Teaching Hospital Auditorium
Candidates attending the screening examination are required to come with:
- Evidence of payment of the application fee
- Registration slip
- JAMB printout
Candidates are advised to arrive prepared and ensure that they have all the required documents before proceeding to the examination venue.
