Akwa Poly Reschedules 31st Matriculation Ceremony for 2025/2026 Session

This is to inform all registered students (ND1 Full-Time/Akwapoly Consult) and the entire Polytechnic Community of Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic that the 31st Matriculation Ceremony earlier scheduled for Thursday, 19th March, 2026 has been rescheduled.

The ceremony will now hold as follows:

New Date: Tuesday, 24th March, 2026

Venue: Polytechnic Convocation Ground

Time: 11:00 a.m.

The rescheduling became necessary to allow staff and students to observe the Eid al-Fitr celebrations declared by the Federal Government for Thursday, 19th and Friday, 20th March, 2026.

Eligibility to Participate

Please note that only students who have fully paid their fees and completed registration in their respective Departments will be allowed to participate in the Matriculation Ceremony.

Academic Gown Collection

Heads of Departments are hereby informed that the collection of Academic Gowns from the Central Stores has been extended to Monday, 23rd March, 2026 for onward distribution to matriculating students.

Students should ensure they collect their gowns through their Departments, as necessary arrangements have already been made.

All concerned are advised to take note of these changes and comply accordingly. The Polytechnic Management urges all staff and students to give this circular the widest publicity it deserves.
