BAYERO UNIVERSITY, KANO RESCHEDULES EXAMINATIONS OVER AUGUST 25 PUBLIC HOLIDAY

The Management of Bayero University, Kano (BUK) has announced the rescheduling of all examinations originally scheduled for Tuesday, August 25, 2026, following the declaration of the date as a public holiday.

The announcement was made to inform students and other members of the University Community about the adjustment to the examination timetable.

EXAMINATIONS SCHEDULED FOR AUGUST 25 RESCHEDULED

According to the University Management, all examinations that were initially scheduled to take place on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, will no longer hold on that date.

Instead, the affected examinations will be rescheduled to take place after the last scheduled examination date and time for the respective Faculty, School or programme.

The University stated that the rescheduled examinations will be conducted in accordance with the approved examination timetable for each Faculty, School or programme.

STUDENTS ADVISED TO TAKE NOTE

All students of Bayero University, Kano who have examinations scheduled for Tuesday, August 25 are advised to take note of the change and make the necessary preparations for the new examination date.

Students are also encouraged to pay attention to official announcements from their Faculties, Schools, departments and programmes for further information concerning the rescheduled examinations.

The affected students should not assume that their examinations have been cancelled. Rather, the examinations have been moved to a later date following the public holiday.

The University Management appreciated the understanding and cooperation of students and other members of the University Community regarding the adjustment.

The rescheduling became necessary following the declaration of Tuesday, August 25, 2026, as a public holiday, which affects activities originally scheduled to take place on the date.

Students are therefore advised to stay informed and regularly check official university communication channels for updates on the rescheduled examination arrangements.

All examinations originally scheduled for Tuesday, August 25, 2026, will now hold after the last scheduled examination date and time for the respective Faculty, School or programme, in line with the approved examination timetable.
