Coal City University (CCU) has issued an important advisory to all prospective students and their parents, urging them to remain vigilant against fraudsters as the 2026/2027 admission exercise continues.

The university warned that unscrupulous individuals may attempt to exploit applicants by falsely claiming they can facilitate or guarantee admission into the institution.

Admission Letters Issued Through Official Channels Only

According to the Admissions and Student Success Unit, all official admission offers are communicated exclusively through the University's designated admission portal and the applicant's registered email address.

Prospective students are therefore advised to regularly monitor both platforms for updates regarding their admission status.

University Advises Applicants to Beware of Fraudsters

To safeguard applicants throughout the admission process, Coal City University outlined the following important guidelines:

  • Do not entertain unsolicited individuals claiming they can secure or guarantee admission into the University.
  • Do not make payments to anyone based on personal requests, phone calls, WhatsApp messages, or social media communications claiming to represent the University.
  • Do not disclose your admission login details, passwords, or other sensitive personal information to unauthorized persons.
  • Verify every admission-related information, including admission status, fees, documentation, and registration procedures, through the University's official communication channels only.
  • If you receive any suspicious message, payment request, or admission-related communication, contact the University to verify its authenticity before taking any action.

Admission Process Does Not Involve Agents

The University reiterated its commitment to maintaining a transparent, credible, and fraud-free admission process, stressing that applicants are not required to deal with unofficial agents, middlemen, or intermediaries at any stage of the admission exercise.

The management urged prospective students and their parents to remain cautious and avoid falling victim to admission scams.

Need Clarification?

Applicants seeking clarification or additional information regarding the admission exercise are advised to communicate only through Coal City University's official telephone numbers, email addresses, and other verified communication platforms.

The University thanked prospective students for their cooperation and encouraged everyone to help protect the integrity of the admission process by remaining vigilant throughout the 2026/2027 admission exercise.
