EBONYI STATE UNIVERSITY (EBSU) RELEASES 2026/2027 ADMISSION LIST ON JAMB CAPS

The management of Ebonyi State University (EBSU), Abakaliki, has officially released the 2026/2027 admission list for candidates who participated in the university's admission screening exercise.

Prospective students who applied for admission into the university can now check their admission status through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).

The admission list contains the names of candidates who have been offered provisional admission into various undergraduate programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.

How to Check the EBSU Admission List

Candidates can check their admission status by following the steps below:

1. Visit the JAMB e-Facility Portal: https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/
2. Log in using your registered email address and password.
3. Click on "Check Admission Status."
4. Select "Access My CAPS."
5. Click on "Admission Status" to view your admission details.

If you have been offered admission, your admission status will be displayed on the portal.

Accept or Reject Your Admission Offer

Candidates who have received admission offers are advised to immediately click either:

• ACCEPT to accept the admission offer, or
• REJECT if they do not wish to accept the admission.

Accepting your admission offer on JAMB CAPS is a mandatory step required before you can proceed with other admission and registration processes.

What If Your Admission Status Is Still Pending?

Applicants whose admission status shows "Admission Still in Progress" or "Not Admitted" should not panic.

The admission exercise is ongoing, and more names are expected to be uploaded in subsequent batches. Candidates are advised to continue checking their JAMB CAPS regularly for updates.

Important Advice to Candidates

Successful candidates should ensure they:

• Accept their admission promptly on JAMB CAPS.
• Print their JAMB Admission Letter after acceptance.
• Print their Original JAMB Result Slip if required.
• Monitor Ebonyi State University's official channels for information on acceptance fees, clearance, and registration procedures.

Candidates awaiting admission should also ensure their O'Level results have been uploaded to JAMB CAPS, as this remains a key requirement for admission processing.
