NATIONAL ORTHOPAEDIC HOSPITAL, IGBOBI OPENS 2026/2027 ADMISSION INTO NURSING, ND, HND AND B.TECH PROGRAMMES
The National Orthopaedic Hospital (NOH), Igbobi, Lagos, has commenced the sale of application forms for admission into its 2026/2027 academic session full-time programmes under the College of Nursing Sciences (CONS) and the Federal College of Orthopaedic Technology (FECOT).
Suitably qualified candidates seeking admission into Nursing Sciences, Orthopaedic Technology, Prosthetics and Orthotics Technology, and Prosthetics and Orthotics are invited to submit their applications before the closing date.
The institution stated that the online application process will close on Friday, September 4, 2026.

Applications are invited into the following programmes:
- Four (4)-Year National Diploma/Higher National Diploma (ND-HND) Nursing Sciences (ND Non-Terminal Programme)
- Two (2)-Year National Diploma (ND) in Orthopaedic Cast Technology (OCT)
- Two (2)-Year National Diploma (ND) in Prosthetics and Orthotics Technology (POT)
- Two (2)-Year Higher National Diploma (HND) in Orthopaedic Cast Technology
- Two (2)-Year Higher National Diploma (HND) in Prosthetics and Orthotics Technology
- Five (5)-Year Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Prosthetics and Orthotics, affiliated with the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO).
Admission Requirements
Candidates applying for the ND, Nursing, and B.Tech. programmes must possess:
- A minimum of five (5) O'Level credit passes in:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology
The required credits must be obtained in not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB.
UTME Cut-Off Marks
Applicants must also meet the following minimum UTME scores:
- 200 – National Diploma (ND) in Orthopaedic Cast Technology
- 200 – National Diploma (ND) in Prosthetics and Orthotics Technology
- 200 – Nursing Sciences Programme
- 220 – Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Prosthetics and Orthotics
Requirements for HND Applicants
Candidates applying for Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes must possess:
- A relevant National Diploma (ND) with a minimum of Lower Credit
- Evidence of one-year Industrial Training (IT) in the relevant discipline
Other Required Documents
Applicants are expected to provide the following:
- Proof of being at least 16 years old
- Birth Certificate or Sworn Declaration of Age
- JAMB UTME Result Slip
- One recent passport photograph with a white background
The institution also emphasized that all applicants must upload their O'Level results on or before September 4, 2026.

Interested candidates are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of ₦20,000.
