Edo State University Announces 7th Convocation Ceremony

The Vice-Chancellor, Victor O. Adetimirin, on behalf of the Governing Council, Senate, staff, and students of Edo State University, Iyamho, has cordially invited members of the university community, stakeholders, and the general public to the institution’s 7th Convocation Ceremony.

The convocation ceremony marks an important milestone for the university as it celebrates the achievements of graduating students and recognizes academic excellence. The theme of the lecture is “Navigating Digital Temptations and Building Integrity in the Face of Cybercrimes: Ethics for Graduates in a Tech-Driven World.” The lecture aims to highlight the challenges posed by cybercrime and the importance of integrity, ethical conduct, and responsible use of technology among graduates entering the workforce.

The lecture will be delivered by Stanley Jacobs, who is expected to share insights on the growing influence of digital technologies, the ethical dilemmas associated with online activities, and the need for graduates to uphold strong moral values despite increasing technological pressures.
