The Centre for Continuing Studies, Nasarawa State University Keffi has announced the reopening of its admission portal for the sale of application forms into part-time programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.
According to the Acting Director of the Centre, Ismaila Olotu, the admission portal reopened on Friday, March 6, 2026, and will remain accessible to prospective applicants until Sunday, March 15, 2026.
Dr. Olotu explained that the decision to reopen the portal was taken to provide an opportunity for candidates seeking admission into the newly introduced Part-Time Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) Guidance and Counselling programme to submit their applications. The initiative is expected to attract prospective students who are interested in pursuing the programme through a flexible learning format.
He also noted that the extension will benefit candidates who were unable to secure admission through the regular full-time admission process. By applying through the part-time programme, such candidates can still pursue their academic goals while benefiting from the flexibility offered by part-time studies.
The Acting Director emphasized that the move forms part of the university’s broader strategy to expand access to higher education and accommodate a wider range of applicants. According to him, the part-time programme is particularly designed for working-class individuals and other prospective students who require flexible schedules to balance their studies with other commitments.
He further stated that the Centre for Continuing Studies remains committed to providing quality education through alternative learning pathways that allow more people to benefit from university education.
Prospective applicants are therefore encouraged to take advantage of the reopened portal and complete their application process before the closing date. Interested candidates are advised to ensure that all required information and documents are properly submitted before the March 15, 2026 deadline to avoid missing the opportunity.
