The Federal University Dutse (FUD) has officially opened its doors for admission seekers! This is to invite all candidates who applied through UTME or Direct Entry (DE) into the University for the 2025/2026 Academic Session to take part in the Post-UTME/DE Online Screening Exercise. The screening is compulsory for every applicant who wishes to gain admission into any of the programmes offered by FUD for this session.

The online screening will run from:
Monday, 25th August, 2025
to
Monday, 15th September, 2025
This means candidates have about three weeks to complete all the necessary steps. Candidates are strongly advised not to wait until the last day before applying.
âś… Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the screening exercise, candidates must meet the following requirements:
Choice of Institution
You must have chosen Federal University Dutse (FUD) as your First Choice institution during JAMB registration.
UTME Candidates
You must have scored at least 150 in the 2025 JAMB UTME examination.
Direct Entry (DE) Candidates
You must have a minimum of 8 points in IJMB or NCE, or
A Lower Credit in National Diploma (ND).
O’Level Requirements
You must have at least five (5) credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings (WAEC, NECO, or equivalent).
👉 Participation in this online screening is mandatory for all applicants. Without it, you cannot be considered for admission.

The cost of the screening exercise is Two Thousand Naira (₦2,000) only.

To apply, candidates should carefully follow the steps below:
Visit the University’s Post-UTME/DE portal 👉 https://www.putme.fud.edu.ng
Login using your UTME/DE Registration Number and State of Origin as your password.
Update your personal details such as Date of Birth, Email Address, Phone Number, State, and Local Government Area (LGA) exactly as they appear on your UTME/DE registration slip.
Generate your Invoice and obtain your Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) number.
Pay the ₦2,000 screening fee using any of the following:
A valid debit card (ATM card).
At any commercial bank nationwide, including FUD Microfinance Bank.
Update your O’Level results (not more than two sittings).
For DE candidates, upload your A’Level results where applicable.
Upload the following documents:
Authentic O’Level and/or A’Level results.
A recent passport-size photograph (clear and not older than 6 months).
Print your Acknowledgement Slip once the process is complete.

After completing registration, candidates must print and keep the following documents safely:
Evidence of Remita Payment Receipt.
The Acknowledgement Slip.
JAMB UTME Notification of Result or Registration Slip.
These documents will serve as proof of successful registration and may be requested during further admission processes.
🔑 Important Notes
Candidates are strongly advised to upload their O’Level results on the JAMB CAPS Portal. Failure to do this may lead to disqualification, even after completing FUD’s internal screening.
The deadline for registration is Monday, 15th September 2025, and the university has made it clear that no extension will be given.
Candidates should ensure that all details provided are accurate. Errors in names, date of birth, or results may affect admission chances.
