FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH SCIENCES OTUKPO (FUHSO) RELEASES POST-UTME/DE ADMISSION FORM FOR THE 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION

Candidates who applied for admission into the Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo (FUHSO) for the 2025/2026 academic session, either as their first choice in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) or through Direct Entry (DE), are requested to register for the Post-UTME screening, starting from Monday 8th to Monday 15th September, 2025.

The available programmes and cut-off points are as follows:

iii. B.Sc. Microbiology - 190

iv. Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Sciences (BMLS) - 190

v. B.Sc. Public Health and Epidemiology - 180

vi. B.Sc. Biostatistics - 170

vii. B.Sc. Chemistry - 160

viii. B.Sc. Biochemistry - 160

ix. B.Sc. Physics - 160

x. B.Sc. Biological Sciences - 160

xi. B.Sc. Mathematics - 160

xii. B.Sc. Computer Science - 160

Candidates who wish to switch from their earlier University should indicate the change on the JAMB portal and select the Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo as University of first choice.

ELIGIBILITY

i. All Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry candidates must have scored the minimum of 160 in UTME and the minimum cut-off points for their chosen courses listed above.

ii. Candidates must have five credit passes in O’level including Mathematics and English. O’level result must be uploaded on the JAMB portal.
iii. Candidates awaiting O’level results are not eligible to apply.

iv. All Direct Entry (DE) candidates must have obtained a minimum of Upper Credit.

v. All candidates must upload their O’level results on the JAMB Portal and have it verified by JAMB.

vi. Any candidate who fails to upload their O’level results on the JAMB portal will not be considered for admission.

vii. All candidates must upload their O’level results in not more than two sittings with the subject combinations relevant to their course of choice.

viii. Candidates who did not choose the University as another MUST do so on the JAMB portal to be eligible for screening.

ix. All eligible candidates are required to be on the register for the post-UTME.

PROCEDURE FOR REGISTRATION

i. All candidates are required to make a payment of Two Thousand Naira (N2000) only as screening fee through remita at the Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo (Name of service/purpose, Post UTME Screening fee).

ii. The payment can be done at any bank branch by generating RRR and taking it to any bank.

iii. Evidence of payment should be brought to the screening venue.

iv. Candidates should come along with photocopies of the following:

• JAMB result slip
• Original and photocopies of O’level results
• Birth certificate or Declaration of Age
• Two passport photographs
• Evidence of payment

v. The screening exercise will commence on Monday 8th September and end on Monday 15th September, 2025.
