FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OTUOKE ANNOUNCES PRE-DEGREE ADMISSION FOR 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION
The Federal University Otuoke (FUOTUOKE) has commenced the sale of application forms for admission into its Pre-Degree Programme for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The programme is a one-year intensive foundation course designed to prepare candidates for the 2027 UTME and facilitate admission into 100-level degree programmes at the university.
Admission Requirements
Applicants must possess at least five (5) O'Level credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB.
Successful candidates are expected to register for and sit the 2027 UTME with the appropriate subject combination for their chosen course of study.

The Pre-Degree Programme covers a wide range of courses across the university's faculties, including:

- Social Sciences
- Basic Medical Sciences
- Medical Laboratory Science
- Nursing Science
- Science
Popular courses available include Nursing Science, Medical Laboratory Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Accounting, Mechanical Engineering, Political Science, Biochemistry, Criminology, and many others.
Method of Application
Interested candidates are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of ₦10,000 and complete the online application through the university's admission portal.
Applicants will be required to upload:
- Passport photograph
- O'Level result(s)
- Local Government Identification Letter
- Birth Certificate or Age Declaration
After completing the online application, candidates are to present their application acknowledgment slip and supporting documents at the School of Basic Studies Complex, West Campus, Federal University Otuoke, for screening and registration.

The closing date for submission of applications is Monday, August 31, 2026.
