IBRAHIM BADAMASI BABANGIDA UNIVERSITY, LAPAI (IBBUL) RELEASES POST-UTME/DE ADMISSION FORM FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

This is to inform all UTME and Direct Entry (DE) candidates who chose IBB University, Lapai as their First Choice institution that the online Post-UTME/DE Screening and Verification Exercise will commence on Monday, 17th August, 2026 and close on Sunday, 20th September, 2026.

Eligibility:

  • UTME candidates must have scored 150 and above and uploaded their O'Level results to JAMB CAPS.
  • DE candidates must upload their O'Level result together with a scanned copy of their IJMB, NCE or Diploma result. A ‘Level NABTEB is not acceptable.

Screening Procedure:

Stage 1 – Eligibility Check: Enter JAMB Registration Number, phone number and Email. Generate an invoice and pay the prescribed screening fee of ₦2,000.

Stage 2 – Payment: Pay through Branch Collect or WebPAY as instructed on the portal.

Stage 3 – Result Submission: After payment confirmation, log in and submit your O'Level and A ‘Level (DE candidates only) result(s) (maximum two sittings), and the appropriate scratch card PIN(s) for each result type and other required information. Print the acknowledgement slip for your records.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Candidates are strongly advised to purchase a NEW scratch card for each examination result and USE IT ONLY ONCE to check the result before submitting it on the screening portal.

Candidates who submit any of the following category of invalid cards will be DISQUALIFIED:

  • An Invalid Card: A scratch card that is non-existent or forged/fake
  • A Used Card: A scratch card that has been used to check another candidate’s result
  • An Exhausted Card: A card that has reached Usage limit (used up to 5 times)
  • An Expired card: A card that is no longer active/valid
    Supplying false information will result in disqualification.

Candidates may present a maximum of two O'Level results. Candidates awaiting results may indicate Awaiting Result (AR), but such results must be uploaded before the admission exercise closes.

Any candidate who fails to complete the online screening and verification exercise will not be considered for admission.
