The management of the Kaduna State College of Nursing and Midwifery has issued an important notice to the general public, parents, guardians, and prospective applicants, warning them against fake admission advertisements and fraudulent publications circulating online regarding admission into the National Diploma (ND) Nursing Programme for the 2026/2027 academic session.

According to the College, it has observed the activities of fraudsters who are spreading false information and creating unauthorized admission portals to deceive unsuspecting candidates.

Official Admission Portal Not Yet Open

The College wishes to state categorically that it has not yet opened its official admission portal for the 2026/2027 admission exercise.

Management emphasized that the only authorized website of the institution, when admissions officially commence, will be:

Any other website, portal, or platform claiming to be the College's official admission portal should be regarded as fake and ignored.

Prospective candidates are advised not to make any payments or submit personal information through unauthorized websites or individuals claiming to facilitate admission into the College.

ND Nursing Admission May Be Delayed

The College further disclosed that it is currently undergoing a full accreditation exercise, which may result in a delay in the commencement of admissions into the National Diploma (ND) Nursing Programme for the 2026/2027 academic session.

Management assured prospective applicants that the public will be officially informed through the College's approved communication channels once the admission process begins.

Basic Nursing and Other Programmes Discontinued

The management also reminded the public that admissions into the following programmes have been discontinued since the expiration of the programme intervention in 2025:

  • Basic Nursing
  • Basic Midwifery
  • Community Nursing
  • Community Midwifery

As such, any advertisement or individual claiming to offer admission into any of these programmes should be treated as fraudulent.

Beware of Fraudsters

The College strongly advised prospective candidates and their parents or guardians to remain vigilant and avoid falling victim to admission scammers.

Applicants are encouraged to rely only on official announcements released by the Kaduna State College of Nursing and Midwifery through its approved communication channels and official website.

The management reaffirmed its commitment to conducting a transparent and credible admission process and urged members of the public to disregard all fake admission publications until an official announcement is made.

Prospective candidates are advised to remain patient and await further updates regarding the commencement of the 2026/2027 National Diploma (ND) Nursing admission exercise.
