LAGOS STATE COLLEGE OF HEALTH TECHNOLOGY WARNS ADMISSION RACKETEERS, ADVISES APPLICANTS TO BEWARE OF FRAUDSTERS
The Lagos State College of Health Technology (LASCOHET) has issued a strong warning to admission racketeers and fraudulent individuals attempting to exploit unsuspecting applicants during the 2025/2026 admission exercise.
The College reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining a transparent, merit-based, and credible admission process, emphasizing that admissions into all programmes are conducted strictly in accordance with approved procedures.
College Disowns Admission Agents
Speaking on behalf of the Provost and Management of the College, the Registrar, Mr. Ekundayo, stated that no individual, middleman, or third party has been authorized to secure admission on behalf of the College.
He stressed that all admissions into LASCOHET are processed only through the institution's official admission channels, warning prospective students against patronizing unauthorized persons who claim they can facilitate admission.
According to the Registrar, anyone demanding money with the promise of securing admission into the College is a fraudster and should be avoided.
Official Admission Procedure
The College advised prospective applicants to obtain authentic admission information exclusively through its official admission portal.
Interested candidates are required to:
- Visit the official LASCOHET admission portal.
- Purchase the application form online.
- Pay the approved application fee of ₦25,000.
- Complete the admission process in accordance with the College's official guidelines.

Parents and Applicants Advised to Remain Vigilant
Mr. Ekundayo cautioned prospective students, parents, and guardians against dealing with self-acclaimed admission agents, middlemen, or anyone requesting payment in exchange for admission.
He reiterated that admission into the College is strictly based on laid-down procedures and that no amount of money paid to unauthorized individuals can influence the admission process.
Applicants are therefore encouraged to verify every admission-related information through the College's official communication channels.
Fraudsters Will Face Prosecution
The Registrar warned that anyone found impersonating the College, extorting applicants, or engaging in admission fraud would be reported to the appropriate law enforcement agencies for investigation and prosecution.
The College emphasized that it would continue to work with relevant authorities to protect applicants from admission scams and preserve the integrity of its admission process.

On behalf of the Provost and the College Management, Mr. Ekundayo assured all applicants that LASCOHET remains committed to providing a fair, transparent, and seamless admission process.
