The Management wishes to inform the entire Polytechnic student body of a strategic adjustment to the academic calendar. To ensure adequate preparation for the upcoming term, the resumption date for the Second Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Session has been officially rescheduled.
I. ADJUSTED ACADEMIC TIMELINE
Students are directed to take note of the following changes to the resumption schedule:
- Original Resumption Date: Monday, 20th April, 2026
- New Resumption Date: Monday, 27th April, 2026
All academic activities, including lectures and departmental registrations, will commence immediately upon the new resumption date.
II. HOSTEL ALLOCATION AND ACCOMMODATION
For students residing on campus, the following protocols must be observed:
- Portal Verification: Students are required to check their personal portals exactly two (2) days prior to the new resumption date.
- Allocation Updates: The portal will be updated with new hostel and room allocations for the second semester.
- Compliance: Students are expected to occupy only the rooms assigned to them on the updated portal. Unauthorized room swapping or illegal squatting will not be tolerated.
III. ADMINISTRATIVE ADVISORY
- Travel Planning: Students are advised to adjust their travel itineraries and plan their return to campus in alignment with the Monday, 27th April start date.
- Readiness: Use this additional week to finalize all first-semester clearances and prepare your academic materials for the new term.
