SULE LAMIDO UNIVERSITY KAFIN-HAUSA (SLUK) RELEASES REMEDIAL ADMISSION FORM FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION
The School of Preliminary and Continuing Education (SPACE) at Sule Lamido University (SLU), Kafin Hausa, has officially opened applications for its University Preparatory Programme (UPP) for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The UPP is designed to provide rigorous academic training and improve the performance of newly admitted university students. Candidates who achieve the required benchmarks at the end of the programme will be absorbed into the university as 100-level degree students.
Structure and Nature of the Programme
The UPP is a full-time academic program spanning one academic session. Instruction and subjects are drawn from three primary disciplines:
Sciences
Humanities
Social and Management Sciences
Eligibility and Entry Requirements
Applicants holding an SSCE O-level result or its equivalent can apply under two categories:
Category A: A minimum of five (5) O-level credits in relevant science subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings.
Category B: A minimum of three (3) O-level credits. However, candidates in this category must remedy their deficient credits before they can be absorbed into a degree programme.
Absorption and Progression Requirements
To gain full absorption into a regular 100-level degree program at SLU, admitted candidates must:
Successfully pass the remedial program.
Possess five O-level credits, including Mathematics and English Language.
Obtain the minimum SLUK UTME points.
Validity of the Result: For candidates who successfully pass the UPP program but are unable to immediately satisfy the O-level or UTME requirements, the program result will remain valid for two admission sessions.

Application Fee: Five Thousand Naira (N5,000.00) only.
