UEE Akamkpa Announces 2nd Matriculation Ceremony for 2025/2026 Academic Session

The Registrar of University of Education and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Gabriel O. Egbe, has officially announced the institution’s 2nd Matriculation Ceremony for the 2025/2026 academic session. The announcement was made through a memorandum issued to members of the university community.

In the statement, the Registrar invited staff, students, parents, guardians, and distinguished guests to attend the ceremony and witness the formal induction of newly admitted students into the university. Important Directives for Staff and Students

Arrival and Seating:
All staff members and students are expected to arrive early and be seated by 9:30 a.m. before the official arrival and procession of the Vice-Chancellor and other principal officers of the university.

Academic Regalia:
Members of staff who hold Doctorate Degrees are specifically requested to wear their academic gowns and participate in the Vice-Chancellor’s academic procession. This procession is a symbolic representation of the academic authority and scholarly tradition of the institution.

Administrative Oversight:
All Deans, Directors, and Heads of Departments (HODs) have been directed by the university management to ensure that students in their respective faculties and departments fully participate in the ceremony. Their presence is essential as the matriculation ceremony officially marks their acceptance into the academic community of the university.

The management further noted that participation in the matriculation ceremony is a vital step for newly admitted students. It provides them with an opportunity to understand the responsibilities that come with being members of the university and to familiarize themselves with the institution’s values and expectations.
