I. ACADEMIC PATHWAYS AND TARGETS

The university provides multiple entry routes to accommodate various educational backgrounds:

FULL-TIME DEGREE PROGRAMME

  • Target: UTME candidates with the official JAMB pass mark and Direct Entry applicants.
  • Requirements: Five O’Level credit passes (WASSCE/NECO/NABTEB/GCE) in at most two sittings.
  • Direct Entry: Accepts JUPEB, IJMB, A/L, ND, NCE, or HND.
  • Duration: 3–5 years.

PART-TIME DEGREE PROGRAMME

  • Target: Working-class or mature candidates requiring a weekend study mode.
  • Requirements: Same O’Level standards as full-time; higher entry for ND/HND/NCE holders.

TOP-UP AND CONVERSION PROGRAMME

  • Target: HND/NCE holders seeking a university degree, or University graduates with Third Class/Pass grades looking to upgrade or switch careers.

SUB-DEGREE & PRE-DEGREE PROGRAMMES

  • IJMB/JUPEB: Intensive preparation for direct entry into 200 Level at Wesley or other universities.
  • Pre-Degree: For candidates with O’Level deficiencies, preparing them for SSCE and JAMB UTME.

  • Natural and Applied Sciences: Biochemistry, Microbiology, Industrial Chemistry, Industrial Mathematics, Physics with Electronics, Applied Geology, Geophysics, and Computer Science.
  • Agriculture, Food Science and Technology: Food Science, Hospitality and Tourism, Nutrition and Dietetics, and Agriculture (Animal Science, Crop Science, Soil Science, Fisheries, etc.).

  • Estate Design and Management: Urban and Regional Planning, Estate Management.
