GBOKO POLYTECHNIC RELEASES FULL-TIME AND PART-TIME ND/HND ADMISSION FORM FOR 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

The management of Gboko Polytechnic, Benue State, has officially commenced the sale of application forms for admission into its Full-Time and Part-Time National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The institution, which is fully approved and licensed by the Federal Ministry of Education and the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for admission into its various accredited programmes.

Gboko Polytechnic also assured prospective students of prompt NYSC mobilization for eligible graduates upon successful completion of their studies.

Admission Requirements

Candidates seeking admission into the Polytechnic must satisfy the following requirements:

National Diploma (ND)

Applicants must possess:

  • A minimum of five (5) relevant O'Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, GCE, or its equivalent in not more than two sittings.
  • A minimum UTME score of 100.

Candidates who scored 100 and above but did not initially choose Gboko Polytechnic are advised to visit any accredited JAMB CBT Centre to process a Change of Institution and select Gboko Polytechnic as their first-choice institution.

Higher National Diploma (HND)

Applicants must possess:

  • A relevant National Diploma (ND) from a recognized institution.
  • The required O'Level qualifications.

The Polytechnic also stated that candidates with minor deficiencies in their entry qualifications may remedy them while pursuing their studies.

How to Apply

Candidates can complete their application online by following these steps:

Step 1: Visit the Admission Portal

Access the official application portal to begin your registration.

Step 2: Complete the Pre-Application Form

Provide the required information, including:

  • Surname
  • Other Names
  • Phone Number
  • Preferred Programme
  • Password

Step 3: Generate Invoice and Make Payment

After submitting the pre-application form, an invoice will be generated.

Applicants can pay the application fee online using a debit or credit card or pay at a designated bank.

Step 4: Complete the Full Application

After payment confirmation:

  • Log in to the application portal.
  • Complete the full application form.
  • Upload all required credentials.
  • Submit the completed application.

Step 5: Print Your Application Slip

Applicants are advised to print both their completed application form and payment receipt, as these documents will be required during the physical screening exercise.

UTME Requirements

Candidates applying for National Diploma programmes must:

  • Score at least 100 in the 2026 UTME.
  • Complete a Change of Institution to Gboko Polytechnic if the institution was not selected during JAMB registration.
