The management of Ambrose Alli University (AAU) has issued a strict directive regarding the timely release of results for the 2024/2025 academic session, following delays caused by non-compliance among some departmental authorities.
In a press release dated March 12, 2026, the university management expressed concern that despite earlier resolutions by the Senate, some departments have failed to upload students’ results within the stipulated timeframe. According to the administration, these delays are now threatening the institution’s academic calendar and preventing the release of a complete set of results for Senate approval.
The university noted that the situation is particularly critical because the delay in releasing results could affect course registration for the 2025/2026 academic session.
To address the issue, the management has directed that all results for the 2024/2025 academic session must be uploaded and released by the ICT Directorate no later than Monday, March 16, 2026. Departments have been instructed to ensure that all results uploaded to the system have received the necessary approvals from relevant departmental boards and, where applicable, from the External Examiner before the final deadline.
The university also directed departments that have not yet approved their Computer-Based Examination (CBE) results to complete the approval process immediately. According to the directive, all outstanding CBE results must be approved before the close of work on Friday, March 13, 2026. Management warned that if departments fail to meet this deadline, the results will be released in their current state.
Furthermore, the administration stated that any Head of Department or academic staff found responsible for additional delays in the process will face formal sanctions. The university emphasized that accountability will be enforced to ensure that such delays do not continue to disrupt academic activities.
In addition, departments that have not yet conducted their final-year project defense were instructed to carry out an internal project defense immediately if the exercise was not completed before the close of work on Friday, March 13, 2026. This measure, according to the university, is necessary to prevent further disruptions to the academic schedule.
The management of Ambrose Alli University stressed that the institution can no longer tolerate delays that threaten the integrity of its academic processes and has therefore called for full compliance from all departments to ensure the smooth continuation of academic activities.
