The Ajayi Crowther University (ACU), Oyo, is set to hold its 31st Inaugural Lecture on Tuesday, 29 September 2026, with Professor Moses Olayemi Akiibinu poised to explore the complexities of immunology, allergy, and treatment failure.
The lecture, titled "Immunology, The Meeting Point of Sciences: Allergy and Treatment Failure," is scheduled to take place at 11:00 am at the Modupe and Folorunso Alakija Law Auditorium.
Prof. Akiibinu, whose research has previously examined the immunomodulatory effects of environmental exposures, is a Professor of Chemical Pathology and Immunology and the current Dean, Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences at the university.
The lecture, which promises to be revealing, is expected to address a key subject in modern medicine.
The event will be chaired by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ebunoluwa Oduwole.
