The announcement is directed to all registered ND1 Full-Time students, including those under Akwapoly Consult, as well as members of the polytechnic community.

Participation Requirements

The institution has emphasized that only students who have fully paid their school fees and completed registration in their respective departments will be permitted to participate in the matriculation ceremony.

Students who have not fulfilled these requirements will not be allowed to take part in the official induction into the institution.

Distribution of Academic Gowns

Heads of Departments have been instructed to collect academic gowns from the Central Stores for distribution to the matriculating students.

The collection and distribution of the gowns will take place between Tuesday, 17th March and Wednesday, 19th March, 2026.

The management also clarified that all affected students have already paid for the gowns, and therefore should obtain them through their departments.

Signing of Matriculation Register

After the ceremony, all matriculating students are required to sign the Matriculation Registers at the offices of their respective Deans of Schools.

This step is an important part of the matriculation process as it formally records the students’ admission into Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic.

Students and members of the Polytechnic community are encouraged to attend the event and support the newly admitted students as they begin their academic journey.
