Bridge Charity Foundation Reopens 2026 Scholarship Application Portal
Bridge Charity Foundation, in partnership with WealthBridge Financial Services Holdings Limited, has officially reopened the application portal for its educational scholarship programme for the 2026 cycle.
The foundation explained that the decision to reopen the portal followed feedback received from several participating universities. According to the organizers, many students were previously unaware of the scholarship opportunity during the earlier application period. To ensure that more eligible students have the chance to benefit from the programme, the foundation has extended the application window.
Among the institutions expected to benefit from this extension is Olabisi Onabanjo University, alongside other participating universities across Nigeria.
Application Period
The scholarship portal reopened on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, and will remain accessible until Wednesday, March 18, 2026. Interested and qualified students are strongly encouraged to complete their applications before the deadline, as the portal will close after this period for the current application cycle.
Scholarship Coverage and Benefits
The Bridge Educational Scholarship is designed as a comprehensive financial support programme aimed at assisting students throughout their entire academic journey in the university.
One of the major benefits of the scholarship is full tuition coverage. The award covers the cost of tuition from 100 level until the final year of study, thereby removing the financial burden of school fees from successful beneficiaries.
In addition, all payments related to tuition are made directly to the student’s university through FMCB Trustees. This system ensures transparency and guarantees that the funds are properly applied toward the student’s academic expenses.
Another unique benefit of the scholarship applies to students who have already paid their tuition fees for the current academic session. In such cases, the equivalent amount of the scholarship will be invested in a secure money market fund on behalf of the beneficiary.
The invested funds will continue to accumulate throughout the student’s academic years. Upon graduation, the total investment value will then be released to the beneficiary as a financial support package to help them begin the next phase of their career or professional development.
Eligibility and Verification
The scholarship programme is open to bonafide students of participating universities. However, applicants must undergo verification to confirm their academic status and eligibility.
To ensure the credibility of the selection process, the Student Affairs Division of each participating institution will be responsible for validating important student records. These include the applicant’s programme of study and current academic standing or degree classification.
This verification step helps the foundation confirm that applicants meet the academic and institutional requirements for the scholarship programme.
Application Process
Students who meet the eligibility requirements are invited to apply through the official scholarship application portal provided by Bridge Charity Foundation.
Applicants are encouraged to carefully complete all required information and submit their applications within the stipulated time frame to be considered for the scholarship.
### Award Presentation
According to the organizers, successful applicants will not only receive the financial benefits of the scholarship but will also be formally recognized during an official award presentation ceremony.
The ceremony will be hosted within the participating universities at a later date to be announced by the foundation.
Through this initiative, Bridge Charity Foundation and WealthBridge Financial Services Holdings Limited aim to support talented students, reduce financial barriers to education, and encourage academic excellence across Nigerian universities.
