Fed Poly Nekede SUG Announces First Semester Examination Date for 2025/2026 Session

The Students’ Union Government (SUG) of Federal Polytechnic Nekede has officially announced the commencement of the First Semester Examination for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The announcement was made through a press release issued by the Office of the SUG Directorate of Publicity, PRO and Media. According to the statement, the examinations are scheduled to begin on Monday, 23rd March, 2026, in line with the institution’s approved academic calendar.

The SUG emphasized that the examination will be conducted strictly according to the rules and regulations of the institution. Students are therefore expected to comply with all examination requirements to avoid any form of disruption during the examination period.

School Fees Compliance Requirement

The Students’ Union Government reminded students that only those who have fully paid their school fees will be permitted to participate in the upcoming examinations. Students are required to present valid proof of payment before they can gain access to the examination halls.

According to the union, students who have not yet completed the payment of their school fees are strongly advised to do so immediately. The management of Federal Polytechnic Nekede has made it clear that no student without evidence of full payment will be allowed to sit for the examinations.

This directive is intended to ensure proper compliance with the institution’s financial regulations while maintaining order and fairness during the examination process.

Mandatory Identification for Students

In addition to the payment requirement, all students are required to wear their QR code–enabled institutional identity cards throughout the examination period. The identity cards will serve as an important tool for student identification and verification by the school authorities.

The use of QR-enabled identity cards is part of the institution’s effort to improve security and prevent impersonation or other forms of examination malpractice. Students are therefore advised to ensure that their identity cards are available and properly worn during the examination period.

Advice to Students

The Students’ Union Government encouraged all students of Federal Polytechnic Nekede, popularly known as Nekedites, to comply with these directives and focus on adequate preparation for the forthcoming examinations.

Students are also reminded to observe all examination rules, arrive early at their examination venues, and maintain discipline throughout the examination period.

As the semester gradually draws to a close, the SUG expressed its support and encouragement to the student body, wishing everyone a successful and hitch-free examination period.
