FINAL DEADLINES FOR 2025/2026 COURSE REGISTRATION – USMANU DANFODIYO UNIVERSITY, SOKOTO (UDUS)

The Management of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS), following reports from the Directorate of Information and Communication Technology (DICT), has observed that a significant number of students are yet to finalize their registration formalities.

To maintain the integrity of the academic record and ensure all students are officially recognized for the current session, the following mandatory deadlines and penalties have been approved.

I. CATEGORY A: PAID FEES BUT PENDING COURSE REGISTRATION

This directive applies to students who have successfully settled their registration fees but have failed to complete the online selection and submission of their courses.

• Action Required: Complete all course registration formalities on the university portal.
• Deadline: Wednesday, 22nd April 2026.
• Penalty for Non-Compliance: Failure to register courses by this date will lead to the automatic deferment of the First Semester for the 2025/2026 session.

II. CATEGORY B: UNPAID FEES AND PENDING REGISTRATION

This directive applies to students who are yet to pay their registration fees and, consequently, have not commenced or completed their course registration.

• Action Required: Remit all necessary registration fees and finalize course registration.
• Deadline: Wednesday, 29th April 2026.
• Penalty for Non-Compliance: Failure to meet this deadline will result in the automatic deferment of the entire 2025/2026 Academic Session.

III. FINAL CLOSURE OF REGISTRATION EXERCISE

The University Management wishes to state unequivocally that the registration portal for the 2025/2026 session will be officially deactivated on:

• Final Closing Date: Thursday, 30th April 2026.

Beyond this date, no further registration activities, fee payments, or course updates will be entertained by the ICT Directorate or the Academic Office.

IV. ADMINISTRATIVE DIRECTIVES

• Heads of Department: All HoDs are requested to give this notice the widest possible circulation within their departments and facilitate student compliance before the respective deadlines.
• Student Responsibility: Students are advised to verify their registration status on their personal dashboards immediately to ensure they do not fall into either of the non-compliant categories.

CONCLUSION: ENSURING ACADEMIC STANDING

The University remains committed to a seamless administrative process. Students are urged to take these deadlines seriously to avoid the severe academic consequences of mandatory deferment.
