Admission Requirements

Candidates seeking admission into the university must possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in WAEC, NECO, or equivalent examinations.

The approved JAMB cut-off marks are as follows:

  • Medicine and Surgery – 200
  • Law – 200
  • Nursing Sciences – 180
  • Architecture – 150
  • Computer Science – 150
  • Education Courses – 150
  • Other Programmes – 150

Candidates who did not initially choose Godfrey Okoye University as their first choice institution are advised to apply for a Change of Institution through JAMB.

Direct Entry candidates must possess the current JAMB Direct Entry Form alongside the required qualifications.

Important Notice on Payment

Candidates applying for Medicine and Surgery, Nursing Sciences, and Law are advised not to pay tuition fees until officially instructed through email by the University Admissions Officer.

Applicants offered admission into other faculties may proceed with the payment of:
