GRACE TRUST FUND ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROJECT (4TH EDITION)
The Ajiro Omas Foundation is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the 4th Edition of the Grace Trust Fund Entrepreneurship Project (2026). This initiative is strategically designed to empower resilient students at the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA) who are successfully balancing academic rigors with entrepreneurial ventures despite financial constraints.
I. THE AWARD: EMPOWERING STUDENT-LED BUSINESSES
The foundation is committed to identifying and boosting the most promising student-run enterprises within the FUTA community:
- Target: Five (5) successful applicants will be selected.
- Support Fund: Each beneficiary will receive a business grant of One Hundred Thousand Naira (₦100,000).
- Objective: To provide the necessary capital for enterprising students to scale their ventures, improve inventory, or upgrade essential business tools.
II. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To ensure that the support reaches the most deserving and capable student-entrepreneurs, the following guidelines are strictly enforced:
- Institutional Focus: This opportunity is open strictly to 300-level students of FUTA only.
- Economic Background: Target candidates are indigent but enterprising students from low-income backgrounds who can demonstrate an active and viable business.
- Academic Standard: A minimum CGPA of 2.5 is required to ensure that the applicant maintains a healthy balance between their studies and their business.
III. APPLICATION TIMELINE
Time is of the essence. Interested students are urged to adhere to the following dates:
- Opening Date: Wednesday, 15th April, 2026
- Closing Date: Friday, 24th April, 2026
