The Management of Kogi State Polytechnic, LOKOJA wishes to inform all candidates seeking admission into the institution for the 2026/2027 Academic Session that registration for the post-UTME screening exercise will commence on Monday, 25th May 2026 and close on Tuesday, 30th June 2026.

​B. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

​Candidates must have chosen Kogi State Polytechnic as their institution of choice in the 2026 UTME and scored a minimum of 100.

​Applicants must possess a minimum of five (5) O'Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.
​Candidates must take note of the required subject combinations for each programme as displayed on the Polytechnic's admission portal, and ensure they meet the specific requirements for their chosen course.

​Candidates who are awaiting O'Level results and meet the minimum UTME score of 100 may apply but must indicate their status appropriately during registration.

​All candidates must provide a functional phone number, valid email address, and National Identification Number (NIN).

​The modalities for the screening process will be communicated via SMS and email using the contact details provided during registration.

​C. MODE OF APPLICATION

​Eligible candidates should visit the Polytechnic's official website: www.kogistatepolytechnic.edu.ng or the application portal: APPLICATION PORTAL and click on "Apply Now".

​Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of N2,000 (Two Thousand Naira) only.

​After successful payment, candidates should complete the online application form and upload the required documents.

NOTE:

​Preference shall be given to candidates who selected Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja as their first-choice institution and have successfully uploaded the required five (5) O'Level credits on the JAMB portal.

​All applicants are strongly advised to use their correct details during registration.

​Any falsification of information will lead to automatic disqualification.
​The Polytechnic will not engage the services of any agent.
