The Management of Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete, is delighted to announce that all nine (9) undergraduate programmes presented during the October/November 2025 National Universities Commission (NUC) accreditation round have secured Full Accreditation Status.
In an official communication dated April 7, 2026, addressed to the Visitor of the University and Governor of Kwara State, the NUC confirmed that these programmes met the rigorous benchmarks required for statutory approval.
I. FULLY ACCREDITED PROGRAMMES (2026–2029)
The following nine programmes across various faculties have been validated for the next three (3) years:
- Management & Social Sciences: Accounting, Banking and Finance, Business Administration.
- Sciences & Health: Computer Science, Microbiology, Environmental Health Science.
- Humanities & Arts: English, Linguistics, Performing Arts.
II. VICE-CHANCELLOR’S REACTION
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Shaykh-Luqman Jimoh, expressed profound joy at the results, describing them as a reflection of the collective hard work of the KWASU community.
