The Nigeria Maritime University, Okerenkoko hereby invites candidates who made the University their first (1st) choice in the 2026/2027 JAMB Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored a minimum of 150 to apply for the screening exercise.
SCREENING REQUIREMENTS
* JAMB Score: A minimum score of 150 in the 2026 UTME.
* O'Level Results: Candidates must possess five (5) O'Level credits in relevant subjects and ensure the results are uploaded directly onto their JAMB portal.
* Bio-Data: Candidates must accurately fill out their bio-data form online during registration.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Candidates are not required to upload passport photographs or biometric captures, as these details have already been supplied via JAMB.
Participation in the screening exercise is mandatory; candidates who fail to register will not be considered for admission. Foreign and disabled candidates are exempt from this screening exercise.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
Eligible candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee of N2,000.00 (Two Thousand Naira) only via the university portal.
Online Registration and Payment Instructions:
1. Visit the official website at https://www.nmu.edu.ng/ and click on the e-portal link.
2. Select the Admission Forms link.
3. Select the appropriate Admission Form type (Post-UTME).
4. Click on the MAKE PAYMENT NOW button.
5. Complete your transaction online using an ATM Card or Internet Banking.
6. After payment, return to the online portal and click on Register to obtain your login credentials and complete your registration.
7. Print out your official 2026/2027 Screening Exercise Slip.
Closing Date
The deadline for online registration and payment is Monday, 29th June, 2026.
