To accommodate the student population, the ceremony will be held concurrently at the university's main campuses.

Academic Gown Collection and Financial Guidelines
All matriculating students are required to appear in the official university regalia. The university has implemented a digital payment system to streamline the collection process.
Hiring Fee: A non-refundable fee of ₦1,000.
Payment Platform: All payments must be processed via Remita.
Collection Protocol: Students must present a printed copy of their Remita payment receipt at their designated collection point to receive their gown.
Mandatory Return Policy and Penalty Fees
The University Management maintains a strict policy regarding the return of academic property. It is the responsibility of the student to ensure the gown is returned in good condition.
Return Deadline: Friday, 30th January 2026.
Return Point: Gowns must be returned to the same office or point where they were originally issued.
Late Return Penalty: Any student who exceeds the January 30th deadline will be charged a late fee of ₦5,000.
Failure to return the gown or pay the associated penalty may lead to the withholding of official university documents or results.
Final Advice for Fresh Students
Freshmen are encouraged to complete their Remita payments early to avoid long queues on the days leading up to the ceremony. It is also advised that students verify their names on the official matriculation list at their respective departments before the event date.
