UNIVERSITY OF CROSS RIVER STATE ANNOUNCES 2026/2027 POST-UTME & DIRECT ENTRY SCREENING EXERCISE
The management of University of Cross River State has officially commenced its 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) Screening Exercise for admission into various undergraduate programmes of the institution.
The university invited applications from suitably qualified candidates who selected UNICROSS as their first choice institution and scored 150 and above in the 2026 UTME examination.
Candidates who did not initially choose the university can also apply after processing a Change of Institution through the JAMB portal.
The online registration exercise officially commenced on Thursday, May 21, 2026.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Eligible candidates include:
- UTME candidates who scored a minimum of 150 in the 2026 UTME.
- Candidates who selected UNICROSS as their first choice institution.
- Direct Entry applicants seeking admission into the university.
- Candidates willing to process a Change of Institution to UNICROSS through JAMB.
The university advised prospective applicants to carefully confirm the campus location of their preferred courses before registration.
SCREENING FEE
Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable screening fee of ₦2,000 only.
Payment can be made online using:
- MasterCard
- Visa Card
- Verve ATM Card
- Bank Transfer
- USSD
REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
Applicants are to complete their registration through the university admission portal: https://admissions.unicross.edu.ng
Steps for Registration
- Visit the UNICROSS Post-UTME portal.
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number.
- Verify and update your email address and phone number.
- Proceed to payment and generate your E-PIN.
- Save your E-PIN carefully for future login.
- Log in again using the E-PIN.
- Upload all required documents.
- Fill in the application form accurately.
- Submit the application and print acknowledgment slip.
IMPORTANT SCREENING NOTICE
The university clarified that:
- Candidates are NOT required to appear physically for screening.
- Applicants are not expected to travel to Calabar or any UNICROSS campus for the exercise.
- The screening process will be conducted online.
Candidates were also advised to ensure:
- All documents are properly scanned and uploaded.
- Uploaded documents are not less than 50KB.
- Correct phone numbers and email addresses are provided for communication.
