AMBROSE ALLI UNIVERSITY (AAU) ADJUSTS SECOND SEMESTER ACADEMIC CALENDAR FOR THE 2024/2025 ACADEMIC SESSION

This is to inform all students of Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, that the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sunday Olowo Samuel, on behalf of the Senate of the University, has graciously approved the adjustment of the Second Semester Academic Calendar for the 2024/2025 academic session. This decision was reached in line with the university’s commitment to ensuring a smooth, effective, and uninterrupted academic calendar for all full-time undergraduate students.
All students are hereby advised to take note of the important dates and activities outlined below, as strict compliance with the academic schedule will be enforced:
Tuesday, 2nd September, 2025
- Students are to return to campus and resume into their respective halls of residence in preparation for the new semester.
Wednesday, 3rd September, 2025
- Official commencement of second semester lectures across all departments and faculties.
Monday, 6th October, 2025
- Continuous assessment begins for all students. Lecturers are expected to start tests, assignments, and other academic evaluations.
Friday, 31st October, 2025
- All second semester lectures come to an end. Students should have completed their course outlines by this date.
Monday, 3rd November, 2025
- Commencement of second semester examinations, beginning with General Studies (GST) and Entrepreneurial (ENT) courses.
Monday, 1st December to Monday, 29th December, 2025
- Conclusion of second semester examinations.
- Faculty Board of Examiners will meet within this period to deliberate and consider students' results.
Monday, 5th January, 2026
- The Business Committee of Senate is scheduled to meet to review and consider the examination results submitted by the various faculties.
Wednesday, 7th to Friday, 9th January, 2026
- The full Senate of the University will convene to formally consider and approve the January 2026 examination results, marking the official end of the 2024/2025 academic session.
All students are strongly advised to take their academics seriously, attend lectures promptly, complete all assessments, and prepare adequately for their examinations.
