The Management of Ebonyi State University (EBSU) has noted with concern that several students—both fresh and returning—participated in the 2025/2026 First Semester Examinations without completing the mandatory online course registration.
In view of this, a final window has been approved to allow affected students to regularize their academic records. Please note that this is a strict and final opportunity.
I. REGISTRATION TIMELINE
The portal is now open for a limited period. All concerned students must ensure compliance within the following dates:
- Opening Date: Wednesday, 22nd April, 2026
- Closing Date: Friday, 15th May, 2026
- Portal Shutdown: 11:59 PM sharp on the closing date.
II. STRICT CONSEQUENCES FOR NON-COMPLIANCE
Students are reminded that university regulations regarding registration are extant and will be strictly enforced. Failure to register within this window will result in the following:
- Null and Void Results: Any examinations written without valid online registration are considered NULL AND VOID. Such results will not be recognized or uploaded.
- Unauthorized Withdrawal: Students who fail to meet this deadline will be deemed to have taken an unauthorized withdrawal for the semester, effectively halting their academic progress.
- Mandatory Carry-Over: Affected students will be forced to re-register and retake these courses during the 2026/2027 First Semester.
III. IMPORTANT ADVISORY
- No Back-End Registration: Once the portal is shut down on May 15, 2026, no requests for back-end registration or late manual entries will be entertained.
- Verification: After completing the registration, students are advised to print their Course Registration Forms and have them duly signed by their Departmental Heads/Course Advisors for record-keeping.
CONCLUSION: FINAL CALL FOR REGULARIZATION
All students are urged to treat this notice with the utmost priority to safeguard their academic standing. Ignorance of this directive will not be accepted as an excuse for non-compliance.
