NORTHWEST UNIVERSITY, KANO INSTITUTE OF CONTINUING EDUCATION (ICE) OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: ADMISSION INTO IJMB PROGRAMME (2026/2027 SESSION)

The Institute of Continuing Education (ICE), Northwest University, Kano, officially announces the commencement of the sale of application forms for the one-year *Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB)* programme. This programme provides a pathway for students to secure *Direct Entry (200 Level)* admission into Northwest University or any other university nationwide upon successful completion of the examinations.

I. APPLICATION TIMELINE & REQUIREMENTS

• Application Period: From 4th May, 2026, to 26th July, 2026.
• Entry Requirements: Candidates must possess at least *five (5) O'level credits* in NECO, WAEC, NABTEB, or MBAIS.
• Mandatory Subjects: These credits must include either Mathematics or English.

II. AVAILABLE COURSE COMBINATIONS

The IJMB programme offers combinations across three major academic tracks:

• Sciences: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, A'Level Mathematics, and Geography.
• Humanities: Government, Literature, Islamic Studies, Hausa, Arabic, and Sociology.
• Social & Management Sciences: Accounting, Economics, Business Management, and Geography.

Successful IJMB candidates can transition into various degree programmes, including but not limited to:

2. Registration: Click on Applicant and enter a valid email address.
3. Verification: Log in to your email, copy the verification code, and enter it on the portal to continue.
4. Payment: Print your payment invoice and proceed to any bank or use the Nabroll gateway to pay.
5. Completion: Return to the portal for payment verification, then log in using your Application Number and Email to complete the process.
