THE FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC OFFA (FPO): 32ND MATRICULATION CEREMONY ANNOUNCEMENT

The Management of The Federal Polytechnic Offa (FPO) is pleased to inform the general public, parents, and guardians that the 32nd Matriculation Ceremony for the 2025/2026 Academic Session has been scheduled.

This ceremony represents the official induction of all newly admitted students into the polytechnic community. Attendance is mandatory for all fresh students across the various academic tiers of the institution.

I. EVENT SCHEDULE

To ensure a seamless and dignified academic proceeding, the ceremony will take place as follows:

• Date: Thursday, 23rd April, 2026 (Tomorrow)
• Time: 10:00 AM Prompt
• Venue: 1000 Seater Lecture Theater, Main Campus, Offa.

II. ELIGIBLE PARTICIPANTS

The matriculation oath will be administered to all newly admitted students in the following categories:

• National Diploma (ND): Full-Time and Part-Time programmes.
• Higher National Diploma (HND): All departments.

III. IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR STUDENTS

• Punctuality: In accordance with academic tradition, all matriculating students must be fully dressed in their academic gowns and seated at the venue at least 30 minutes (09:30 AM) before the commencement of the event.
• Academic Gowns: Students are expected to have collected their matriculation gowns from their respective School Administrative Offices or the designated collection points.
• Oath of Allegiance: The matriculation ceremony is a legal requirement; students who fail to participate and sign the Matriculation Register may forfeit their admission status.
