The Management of Zamfara State University (ZAMSU), Talata Mafara, wishes to inform all graduating students who have successfully completed their academic programmes and received their Notification of Result that the internal mobilization process for the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) is now active.
All Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) are required to report to the NYSC Mobilization Office at the Permanent Site to initiate their documentation.
I. ACTION STEPS FOR PROSPECTIVE CORPS MEMBERS
Eligible graduates must complete the following administrative requirements:
- Collection: Retrieve the official NYSC Mobilization Form from the designated office.
- Completion & Submission: Fill out the form accurately and return it to the Mobilization Office for reconciliation with the Senate-approved list.
II. MANDATORY DOCUMENTATION
To ensure a hitch-free registration, students must present the following documents:
- Notification of Result: A clear photocopy of your officially issued result.
- JAMB Admission Letter: The official letter (Institution copy) showing your admission details.
- Birth Certificate: Or a valid Declaration of Age.
- Identification: A valid means of ID, preferably your ZAMSU School ID Card.
- Passport Photograph: One (1) recent passport-sized photograph.
III. CRITICAL REMINDERS
> ⚠️ WARNING on Deadlines:
> The mobilization window is strictly time-bound. Failure to complete this physical documentation at the university will result in the exclusion of your name from the Senate List, making it impossible to register on the NYSC portal during the national call-up.
- Data Verification: Ensure that the arrangement of your names on your Notification of Result matches your JAMB profile and O'Level results to prevent "Discrepancy in Name" errors during online registration.
- Physical Presence: This process typically requires the student's presence to verify credentials before data is uploaded to the NYSC portal.
CONCLUSION: FINAL STEPS TO SERVICE
The University remains dedicated to ensuring a smooth transition for our graduates into the National Service scheme. Students are advised to treat this exercise with utmost priority.
Please be guided accordingly.
