BRIDGE SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION OPENS APPLICATIONS FOR 2026/2027 SCHOLARSHIP AWARD
The Bridge Scholarship Foundation has officially commenced applications for its 2026/2027 Scholarship Award, offering a fully funded scholarship opportunity to eligible undergraduate students studying in Nigerian public universities.
The scholarship programme is designed to identify academically promising students facing financial challenges and provide them with comprehensive support throughout their undergraduate studies and beyond.
According to the Foundation, the initiative aims to ensure that financial hardship does not prevent talented students from completing their university education.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To be eligible for the Bridge Scholarship Award 2026/2027, applicants must satisfy the following requirements:
- Be fully enrolled in a public university in Nigeria.
- Be a student in Year One up to the penultimate year of a bachelor's degree programme.
- Demonstrate genuine financial need.
- Show a strong commitment to completing a bachelor's degree programme.
- Have a minimum CGPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or 3.5 on a 5.0 scale.
- Demonstrate integrity, resilience and perseverance in overcoming personal or academic challenges.
- Be actively involved in co-curricular activities and community service.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
Applicants are required to submit the following documents during the application process:
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Motivation Letter
- WAEC or NECO result
- JAMB result
- University Admission Letter
- Academic Record or Transcript (for returning students)
- Three Recommendation Letters
- A valid means of identification, such as a National Identification Number (NIN) slip or Voter's Card
The Foundation noted that incomplete applications will not be considered. Applicants are therefore advised to ensure that all required documents are uploaded correctly before submitting their applications.
