- Student Categories: The requirement is compulsory for all categories of students, including full-time, part-time, and sandwich programmes.
- Research Timeline: No student is permitted to begin data collection or submit a final research project without prior ethical approval from the University Research Ethics Committee.
- Exceptions: There are no exceptions to this policy.
II. ADMINISTRATIVE COMPLIANCE
To ensure the integrity of this policy, University leadership at various levels must adhere to the following:
- Verification: Provosts, Deans, Directors, and Heads of Departments are required to verify and document proof of ethical approval.
- Grading Restriction: Research projects must not be accepted or graded unless the student provides valid documentation of ethical clearance.
