The management of PLATEAU STATE UNIVERSITY, BOKKOS (PLASU) has officially released the 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) Screening Form for candidates seeking admission into the University's undergraduate programmes.

The online screening exercise is open to qualified UTME and Direct Entry applicants who selected PLASU as their first-choice institution during the 2026 JAMB admission exercise. The online registration and screening process commenced on Tuesday, 14th July, 2026, while the screening exercise officially began on Wednesday, 15th July, 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

The screening exercise is open to the following categories of candidates:

UTME Candidates

Applicants must:

  • Choose Plateau State University, Bokkos as their first-choice institution in the 2026 UTME.
  • Score a minimum of 160 in the 2026 UTME.
  • Meet the departmental cut-off mark for their preferred programme.

Departmental Cut-Off Marks

The University has approved the following minimum UTME scores:

  • Law – 200
  • Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) – 200
  • Nursing Science – 200
  • Pharmacy – 190
  • Medical Laboratory Science – 190
  • All Other Programmes – 160

Direct Entry Candidates

Candidates applying through Direct Entry must have selected PLASU as their first-choice institution and possess any of the following qualifications:

  • First Degree
  • Higher National Diploma (HND)
  • National Diploma (ND) with at least Lower Credit
  • Nigerian Certificate in Education (NCE) with a minimum of Merit
  • IJMB or JUPEB with at least six (6) points

Newly Introduced Degree Programmes

Candidates may also apply for admission into the University's newly approved programmes after processing a change of course through JAMB.

Registration Period

Candidates are expected to complete their registration within the approved application window.

  • Opening Date: Tuesday, 14th July, 2026
  • Closing Date: Sunday, 20th September, 2026

How to Apply

Eligible candidates should follow these steps:

  1. Visit the official screening portal: https://postutme.plasu.edu.ng
  2. Click "New Applicant – Apply Here."
  3. Enter your JAMB Registration Number.
  4. Complete the registration form using a valid email address and active phone number.
  5. Verify your email address through the activation link sent to your inbox.
  6. Log in to your account.
  7. Generate your Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) and pay the prescribed screening fee.
  8. Upload your passport photograph and signature.
  9. Enter your O'Level results (maximum of two sittings).
  10. Provide your scratch card details for online result verification.
  11. Complete your biodata and upload the required documents.
  12. Review all information before submitting your application.
  13. Print your application slip, payment receipts, and screening summary.

Important Information

Candidates should note the following:

  • Only candidates who selected PLASU as their first-choice institution are eligible.
  • Candidates wishing to change institution or course must do so through the JAMB portal before completing the PLASU application.
  • O'Level results must be uploaded to the JAMB CAPS portal.
  • Candidates offered admission must accept their admission on JAMB CAPS within two weeks.
  • Submission of false information or forged documents will lead to immediate disqualification.
  • The University reserves the right to verify all submitted credentials.

Fraud Warning

The University has warned candidates and the general public to beware of fraudsters posing as admission agents.

PLASU emphasized that admission into the University is processed strictly through the University and the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). No individual or third party has been authorized to secure admission on behalf of the institution.
