The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), Professor Simon Uchenna Ortuanya, SJD, FCIArb, FCIA, has invited members of the academic community and the general public to the institution's 243rd Inaugural Lecture.

The prestigious lecture will be delivered by Professor Thaddeus Chidi Nzeadibe, a distinguished Professor of Environmental Management and Sustainability, who will share insights on environmental challenges, waste management, and sustainable development in African cities.

Lecture Topic

"Dealing with Waste: Expounding the Geographies of Garbage in African Cities through the Lens of the Sustainable Development Goals."

The lecture is expected to examine waste management challenges across African cities and explore sustainable solutions aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
